Step 10: Maintain It

I know. You are thinking: “Wait, I thought I was done.” But building your website and getting out there is not the end of the journey. Now you have to keep it up to date. Every time you release a new book, make sure it goes up on your website. You might also want to update the layout or color scheme every once in a while.

If you have a blog or a “latest news” feature, try to update every month or so at least. You don’t have to make major changes all the time. But doing little tweaks to keep your website looking fresh and new.

The main point here is that just having a site is not all you need to do. Keeping it up to date is important, too.
